De lesseps museum It was the residence of the French engineer Fernand de lesseps who lived in during and after the digging of the Suez Canal . It contains his bedroom that maintains his properties, his private diary and his bureau . It displays his private carriage that he used to retain the digging work. The place was restored and amended to be a special feature in Ismailia.
