The memorial of 6 October 1973 victory It is located on the eastern bank of the Suez Canal opposite to area no.6. The memorial was established by the Egyptian armed forces in the first strongpoint to be freed during the October war in commemoration of the great victory. The site includes a complete panorama about the war and it is considered a place of tourist interest.

The Unknown Soldier's memorial Established on a high plateau in Jabal Mariam area located 7km south of Ismailia and overlooks the Suez Canal. It was installed to symbolize the victims of the world war 1. The memorial takes the shape of two obelisks proceeded by two girls carrying an olive branch and the other one carries the peace pigeon

Tabbet el Shagara It was one of the main fortification sites erected in the Barlive line, 10k.m far from Ismailia city to the east of Suez Canal . It was demolished by the Egyptian armed forces in 1973 war. This strong point was the head quarter of operations administration and it represents now one of the sights seeing in Ismailia as it includes a booties exhibition and a VIP hail.

Tall salaam This strong point was astablished at the area of tall salaam located, north east of the great bitter lakes, as a defensive depth for the strong point of Barlive line at the area of Defresoir on the eastern bank of the Suez Canal. It was restored by the Egyptian 2nd field army and was re-established as a site of tourist attraction in commemorating of the heroes of October war.

Area No. 6 A charming area located on a high hell overlooking the Suez canal. It is the same place where the foundation stone of the city of Ismailia was set at the time of khedive Ismail. The area contains the Suez Canal hospital, al She faa mosque, the virgin church and the ferry that links the two banks of the canal . The area witnessed the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Abdel Moneim Reyad chief of staff of the Egyptian armed forces during the War of attrition . The area also witnessed the great crossing in October 1973.
